(B) Conventional… Conceivable
(C) unlikely… Classified
(D) archaic… Expressed
(E) precise…Communicable

Can someone explain to me, why B is not correct? Why E is the answer?

I would try a block of 4 here. See if it makes sense:

Individually ~ ______
When combined in groups ~ obscured

This is an opposite relationship. To me, opposite of obscured is clear, definite. Thus, B is out. Precise is the best choice here.

For the second blank, if something is obscure (notice the and here) it prevents communication, doesn’t it? Hope this helps.
