I am facing a lot of problem in using math strategy to solve TC questions and I feel it is being counterproductive for me. Can you suggest any other method?

I have been watching videos and getting a hang of it. How should I go about implementing this as I am just reading and not implementing the strategy? Also, do you think the new verbal tool kit series would help me with the?
