Text Completion : Medium Question

Can someone provide a thorough explanation using Greg’s strategies?

I simplified the first part of the sentence as “It’s sad, but a good thing to accuse school history textbooks”, so there is something negative in the textbook.

The next part can be simplified as “…textbooks report something that is in debate as right”, and these subjects are also false as per credible sources". - This is implying the evidence in the first part about the textbooks being negative in nature.

So (i) A - factual, (ii) F - contradicted and (iii) - I - reliable are the best fit.

Do you mean to say that the textbooks report something as correct…if yes, then how did you arrive at this?

I focused on the phrase “hotly debate”. Since the textbook is wrong in nature, it is reporting something as true, which is under debate by historians. Hence, blank (i) is factual.
