Hi there, the answer to Q2 seems contrary to the learning materials.

The Population vs Sample SD section states “NOTE: While the sample standard deviation is generally larger than the population standard deviation, this is not always the case (can you tell why?).”

Q2 states “The population standard deviation of a list with at least 10 distinct elements is always smaller than the sample standard deviation of that list.“

However the answer is True, not False, even though the learning section suggests this is mostly but not always the case.

The sample mean is the same as the population mean in this example, which is not necessarily the case in in the “learning material” snippet.

For this example, you’re really just comparing \frac 1x with \frac {1}{x-1} for x \geq 10
