Percent increase in A is positive
Percent decrease in B is also positive (notice the emphasis)
Oh I see. So, “percent increase” is + if the number increases and is negative if the number decreases. While “percent decrease” is + if the number decreases and is negative if the number increases. (I think?)
Yes - but a negative percentage increase does not make sense, so you’ll just call it as a percentage decrease.
