I took the test for the second time and the last one was three years ago, which I didn’t prepare much and scored fairly bad. So this time I wasn’t expecting any significant improvement, since I’ve only been preparing for a month following Greg’s strategies. The score was not as good as others posting here, but it gave me a mild degree of confidence that at least I’m not scoring in the 140-150 sector lol.
My question is, is it possible that this is totally out of luck? How consistent is GRE in its difficulty and should I credit my ability for my score? Because I was not feeling well during the test and was expecting some 14X coming out at the end of screen almost decidedly. I didn’t sleep the night before the test, I felt somewhat drained when I was taking the test and felt the words on the questions are evading & I could hardly concentrate. The problems are not very difficult tho (especially the verbal, which does not include any topics on astrology and biology that usually put me off) and the quant doesn’t have much probabilities in them. It was a QVQVQ test.
Anyway if I’m not getting an answer at least I want to shout out to Greg for bringing me useful toolkits to get through the test. They not only helped me prepare for the test but also pointed out some major flaws in my reading habits. Thanks a lot Greg! Will be following your advice for the following two tests.
