On the GRE, if we are asked to find the Total number of factors, do we consider positive AND negative? On the GMAT, it used to just be positive factors
For example, if the question asks us to find the total number of factors of 36. Do we need to do 2^2 x 3^2 - (2+1)(2+1) = 6 OR do we do 6 x 2 = 12 (+ve and -ve factors)
