A bit unclear on this word - Feckless. The meaning contradicts with the example sentence. If someone has talents, how can they be without skill/incompetent?
Usain Bolt in his early years was clearly talented but lost a few races due to his bad running form.
Micheal Phelps and most talented people have the talents but still train to hone it.
I’m sure you have quant talents yet you’re still training.
Talent provides a strong baseline to start from but it doesn’t automatically make you skillful.
