Vocam Mountain Clarification

I have a query regarding a method outlined on your website regarding learning vocab. In the initial vocab mountain videos, you mentioned that while studying vocabulary, we should focus on understanding the meaning, and while practicing say the meaning of each word and move on to the next swiftly. You also mention to avoid describing a word using its synonyms. I’ve been following this approach with no issues so far.

However, I noticed that in the vocabulary quizzes (Specifically Vocab quiz for 1-3 Groups), there are a few questions that focus on synonyms. I found myself stumbling a bit, as I had not paid much attention to synonyms while learning the main words.

So, I’m wondering:

  1. What is the recommended process? Should I go over the word, its meaning, and then its synonyms?
  2. Also, how deep should one go into memorizing synonyms, considering it could involve a lot of words. Would it be correct to assume that even if I don’t fully memorize the synonyms right away, they’ll likely get reinforced and covered as I progress through the vocab days (Day 5, 10, and 15, etc.)?
