I would also say to just review the quant flashcards, and take a lot of rest. You’ve been working very intensely.

@Leaderboard @ganesh just did round 2 GRE. My verbal score improved from 157 to 164 while my quant improved from 148 to 155 couldn’t get 160 for quant but at least I hit it for verbal. My target school is 160 for both. Sigh. Hopefully it’s okay. Anyway, I want to thank both for your kind patience and time taken to advise me. Really appreciate it.

This target score is fine, however you’re hoping for a 10 point increase in only 2 weeks. Unless you happened to be unlucky and had a really bad day in your current test, this is very tough to achieve and unlikely (but prove me wrong if you want!). I would however seriously consider pushing back your retake.

Looks like you proved me wrong, really well done man! That’s a huge improvement for the small amount of time you had!

You worked your ass off for the past few weeks, I think you should celebrate.

After that you can decide what you’d like to do.

Thanks Ganesh! I have heard back from one of my uni of choice and received an interview offer. Still waiting to hear back from another university - hopeful for the enhanced score to get me through the interview door. Both uni do not have a min score but avg GRE for the cohort is around 160 for verbal and quant. Will be prepping for scholarship and uni interviews throughout April but can ease up a little. So for the rest of this week, may take time to watch Dune 2!! Thank you again for all your encouragement and help!

Coming in here Nov 1 to say thanks for this thread!

I’m albeit in the same boat - was doing well on the content untimed and then felt rushed during actual exam. Looking to increase scores by 10 for Quant and 5 for verbal (for 165 each) within three weeks. Surprisingly did worse on quant vs a previous test where I didn’t study as much but will be using this thread as guidance and hope for next test in three weeks! Thank you!
