What if two options are close match?

in percentage increase questions(esp from the charts) since we cannot take exact value and need to approximate. say there are 2 ends and i take them as 5.7 and 6.8 and calculate % increase i will get ~18% but again if i take 5.8 and 6.7 can calculate will get around ~15%… so if the answer options are 13% and 20% which do i choose. not the exact scenario but you get my point hopefully. how to deal with this situation?

Generally this will be unambiguous (otherwise most likely you’ve made a mistake). In your example above, 15% is closer to 13% than 20% so that’s what I would choose.
