I am planning to apply for Fall 2022 session, so what do you think is the best time to appear for the GRE and why?
(I have heard that universities start accepting admits from as soon as October of this year and we need to appear for the examination and have our scores 2 month before October, but I don’t know how much of this is true.)

I’m in the same situation and I’m planning to take the test in July because one of the universities I’m interested in has their early round admission deadline in August, some has theirs in October. So yes you should look up your deadlines (early admissions are always better and have higher chances for scholarships). But you should also consider the time you have for studying, if you started or not yet, if you’re free or have other obligations like work, if you have a previous foundation in Quant or Verbal… the 2 month study plan is intense and I think for most it takes longer to actually finish.
