I don’t understand why “Omit” is the correct answer here for first blank. To me, the phrase “too recently” suggests that the publication was meant to happen later, not sooner. If it was supposed to be published later, then why is “omit” the correct answer? “Omit” means to completely eliminate. Because of this reasoning, I chose “revised” here
