Hello,

I would like some help as to why the first option isn’t correct.

As far as I know using knowing the x intercept (x,o) would also help to calcualte the point through the line.

Hi , If you observe : 4,0 is the x intercept that is already given, because a line except it being parallel can cut the x axis at maximum 1 point which is the x intercept. So that info is not sufficient hence a is false.
