14 days to test day - Guidance on steps forward

Hello,

Hope all of you are doing well.

I have booked my test and it is 14 days from now and I have the final “Bring it home” week left and 10 more vocab groups to do.

With respect to quant,

How should I practice with the materials on the Gregmat platform? Meaning what quizzes do I do or what problems do I do to understand my performance and know which areas am I lacking in.

With so many different resources and different versions, I am confused on how should my next two weeks of practice be.

What should my expected scoring be for Easy, Medium and Hard .

With respect to verbal, similar questions on what should I practice from the materials and how should my performance be to understand where am I lacking.

Hoping to score 160+ on both sections.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Thank you. I think with quant, I can do the practice test first and then the foundation quizzes you suggested. Also, what should be approx scoring? And would you suggest greg’s practice tests or Powerprep ?

I mean, for someone aiming 160+ on Q and V, what should my scores be like on these quizzes

PowerPrep is better because ETS writes better questions of course

I took the test and to my surprise, I got the same exact score for the third time. I plan to take it again next month.
I took the foundation quizzes. Weak areas - Geometry, Coordinate and Data & Vocab.
If I plan to do the overwhelmed plan… what do you suggest my breakdown of weeks should be until test day on 18th Dec. In terms of the study plan, practice quizzes, big book…

any suggestions are appreciated

This kind of stuff is very difficult to plan, are you studying full time or doing it alongside work?

Full time… I am slightly demotivated as I have given it thrice already… but trying to do it well this one last time on Dec 18th.

So want to get on a full time schedule that I shall push myself to follow diligently

First week for sure find and fix foundation gaps.

Going through the overwhelmed plan would be your best bet.

Started doing that… but as I go through them… it all seems like I know… how do I strengthen that with practice? Do I do practice problems after each topic ?

What were your percentages in each of the quant foundation quizzes?

You want to use the overwhelmed plan and do the “progress” quizzes for each of the weaker areas.

For each part:

  1. Take the “Progress Quiz” on the right hand side first
  2. If you score <85%, then do the entire part again and take the quiz again
  3. If you score >= 85% just do the stuff on LHS for the questions you got wrong and re-do just those questions again

Your first priority is to fix your quant foundation gaps.

Arithmetic score - 45/50
Data - 7/15 ( for one of them )
Algebra - 31/36
Coordinate Geometry - 22/38
Geometry - 37/44
Verbal - 22/30

Yep, so there are some gaps there, especially in coordinate geometry and vocab. You can use the steps above to start filling those

Can you pls tell me what you meant by taking quizzes on the right hand side first ? I am on a similar situation, I am almost done with my foundation building and have 19 days left. what should I do both for verbal and quant. I am on day 19 on vocab mountain.
