What is the evidence for that ? may you please explain the process ?

ingenue whatever it means is a type of role and due to the wordings "certain ______ is expected " we can conclude that it got some certain quality attached to it . Now, if we look at line after the blank(ii) “disqualification for the role” thus, whatever word we guess for this blank(blank two) should make the overall idea of going away from that certain quality that we expected in the blank(i) or we can say its the opposite of quality that we expected in blank(i).Hence, I concluded that the two blanks will be opposite.

is the answer A? had to guess (didn’t check defintion of pulchritude or solecism) but trite is “boring” and didactic / astute doesnt seem to make sense or be oppostite, neither does artless / solecism (which is speaking incorrectly i believe?)
