I marked cunning and vexation because they were negative words and a contrast was created using “in fact”, so I was looking for words opposite to simplemindedness.
But in actual the answer is craft and cunning, which now if I substitute them, it makes sense. But I was focussed on pairing strategy and moreover craft and cunning are not even synonyms. So how in exam can we distinguish and come to an answer
