A is the area embedded by the graph

I saw this in one of the new questions, does anyone know how to solve? Sub in x values and graph?

The question says that we need to find the area embedded in the graph, but half the circumference has an open side(ie the diameter of the circle),


So does option 4 make more sense ??

No. The circle is closed since the question clearly mentions that A is embedded with respect to the x-axis.

It is a circle equation with radius 2. So A=2*Pi B=8 or A=Pi B=4. Which ones bigger? The answer is B
