About Listen and Repeat

Sorry could not find the tag related to speaking but really struggling with Listen and Repeat question so wanted to ask for some advice on forum regarding -

  1. Is every sentence has the same weightage or as we progress the later ques that are longer than previous ones ( 6th and 7th ques ) hold more weightage ?

  2. I have come across different strategies over yt like taking notes or memorise in chunk etc. I struggle with note taking one cause the timer starts just when sentence is finished so i usually go for memorising in chunks but struggle in last ones. Any suggestions or advice or strategy that can help ?

  3. Are sentences to be repeated word by word or we can replace some words ? What i mean is are toefl tutors checking if we can repeat the sentences word by word or if we are able to grasp what we are listening and can change a word or two while repeating??
