Like i have reading passages and solving problems , but sometimes like i feels that i don’t know i am reading , like my mind is completely blank what i just read , i tried to read it again , then some words i just can’t figure out , what is the meaning of this line of the passage, like right now while practicing for the strategy “Simplifying the sentences” for one passage i just can’t come up with any simplified versions , like i can’t either rephrase it also. So i don’t understand why this is happening and how to fix it
I don’t believe it’s a good idea to simplify every sentence, but you MUST be able to identify the function of sentences you don’t simplify. Have you learned that skill?
If not, return to this issue when you have, then when it seems laborious to simplify, try labelling the sentence’s function instead and keep going.
