ANNOUNCEMENT: Math Support in Posts

Hey guys,

If you’re familiar with \LaTeX, you can write your math equations easily on the forum. Just wrap them between a pair of two dollar signs ($$). Meet Fourier:

X(j\omega) = \int_{-\infty}^{+\infty}x(t)e^{-j\omega t}dt
x(t) = \frac{1}{2\pi} \int_{-\infty}^{+\infty}X(j\omega)e^{j\omega t}d\omega

Please use it - it really improves readability. Quick guide:

  • \frac{a}{b} = \frac{a}{b}
  • 2^{a + b} = 2^{a + b}
  • x + \sqrt{y} = x + \sqrt{y}
  • \frac{x}{2 + \frac{1}{x}} = \frac{x}{2 + \frac{1}{x}}

You wrap the expression between a pair of dollar signs (so $ expression $). If you want it in display mode it should be exactly
$$
expression
$$

Also, you can use mathpix to screen snip equations to latex.
