Arithmetic Foundation TickBox Quiz #1 Q2 & Q4 Wrong Solution

Square root of any positive int always result in one negtive and one positive number. I have solved manhattan 5 lb and questions from numerous other sources. Wherever there are 2 numbers one positive one negative the answer is always D.

Secondly in Q4 if 0 is neither negative nor positive how come it is counted in the following question?:

Four smallest non negative int should be 1 2 3 4 not 0 1 2 3

GRE only considers positive square root. So, while we may have learnt this in high school, for GRE only consider √x² = |x|.

This is from official ETS Math review:

The second option states “non-negative” so it includes 0 and positive integers.

If it’s “neither negative”, then it IS non-negative right?

“non-negative” means NOT NEGATIVE, it isn’t the same as positive.
