Hi Leaderboard,

I am sorry, I was in a hurry in uploading questions. Let me try again.

I got these questions from gregmat’s foundation quiz (Arithmetic: GRE Quant Foundation Assessment Test (Arithmetic))

For the first screen shot, I was able to narrow the choices down to 3rd and 5th choice.

x + a = b –> x = b + (-a) AND x + a = -b –> x = (-b) + (-a)

But i got stuck after this, and was not able to see correct answer for this one.

For the second screenshot, I was just not able to start solving the problem at all :frowning:
