Backsolving Strategy Problem

Hi, Could someone please explain how to solve the attached problem using backs solving? This problem was skimmed over and wasn’t elaborated on in depth in the video, and was unclear how he landed on this answer.

Thanks!

If he was traveling at 50 miles per hour then it takes him 1/5th an hour to travel 10 miles. 1/5th of an hour is 12 minutes. If his total trip duration is 20 minutes then he has 8 minute to travel back 10 miles. Can you finish the question off by answering:

What speed (in miles per hour) should the emergency vehicle travel so that it can travel 10 miles in 8 minutes?

Tracking now, thank you!

then I just do the same thing to find 8 minutes so use the answer choices to backsolve it, therefore 10 mi divide by 75 mph = .133 or 8 minutes
