Walk us through your logic for why B should be the right answer.
first of all, after the blank 2 i thought the idea was negative because of the word ‘criticism’… so for blank 2 I chose ‘offering’… Then before the blank 1 idea is negative because of ‘not’ and to make the whole idea negative I chose the positive word - inquisitive…
What are the ideas you can identify here?
first idea is not wishing to appear
second idea refraining from…of the senior members’ plan…
also ideas support each other because of coma after the 1st blank
@ganesh can u plz explain it to me???
Good, so both ideas have blanks right? So is it possible to solve this using only support/contrast?
No it is not possible…
How should i think about it??
So think of it like a double possibility question. Fill Blank 1 with each other answer choices to make the first idea complete, then apply support/contrast to predict for B2
I completely forgot about this strategy… Thanks for reminding it
No problem! Sorry for the late response.
Remember if both ideas are incomplete, that’s usually a hint to use double/inflinite possibility. Generally support contrast is better when you can support/contrast the blank with a complete idea.
Thanks for the advice… I like this grp for how interactive it is… U guys help me to build my logical understanding a lot…
Glad to hear it!
