Big Book - Sentence Completion pg 48 #7

#7 on page 48 of big book. I watched Greg’'s explanation video, and his logic for removing answer choice B was that inquisitive is “neutral or even positive”. However, inquisitive is not always neutral nor positive; in fact, a sentence example on google definitions is “I didn’t want to seem inquisitive” (given inquisitive’s definition of “unduly curious”).

The Question:
Not wishing to appear ________, the junior member of the research group refrained from ________ any criticism of the senior members’ plan for dividing up responsibility for the entire project.

A) reluctant…evaluating
B) inquisiitive…offering
C) presumptuous…venturing
D) censorious…undercutting
E) moralistic…observing

Correct answer: C
I picked B

My rationale: inquisitive can be negative so this fits the logic that Greg proposes in 56:25 of his Test 1 TC Walkthrough video.
