Why option A is wrong.
Using match strategy, Option (ii) should be similar to “knowledge”. For option (i), we need a positive noun.
‘A’ matches both the criteria.
{ The correct answer is C}.
Thanks.
Hi @Jessica_12
In my opinion, Blank II can have multiple answers like A, B, C, E hence I would focus on eliminating choices for Blank I.
So you have mentioned Evolution is valid however from a meaning/logic perspective do you think that an archaeological site can be evolved? I don’t believe so, as it’s a situation of the past right? So A can’t be the right choice. Similarly with critical reasoning you can strike out E as Synthesis of an archaeological site is also nonsensical. Option B also gets eliminated as one cannot have a successful or non-successful revelation of an archaeological site. So, we are left with both C & D for Blank I. However we can further eliminate D as Aesthetics for Blank II is ambiguous.
Hence the answer only makes logical sense with C.
I must admit that I found it difficult to operate this question with Greg’s known strategies as I’m not so experienced with Big Book questions.
Hope this helps!
