Big book Test 6 Section 4 Q 5

What am I missing here ? As long as the bond prices are positive what’s stopping us from buying more bonds in 3500 USD than 2500 USD

Is there some accompanying text above that question?

Actually there wasn’t :frowning:

Fair enough. To answer your question, what if the price per bond is $10,000?

If the price of per bond is 10k , then 2.5k/10k = 0.25 bonds and 3.5k/10k = 0.35 bonds. Ain’t B greater?

You can’t purchase a fraction of a bond. In all fairness I think this is one of those questions that one would probably call “bad”, and I wouldn’t spend too much time worrying about this one.
