I am confused between option D and E for second Blank.
If something can be “uniquely interpreted” then randomness is gone. What is the evidence for rational interpretation?
Or D is wrong because of Usage strategy in first blank?
I think in this particular question: LHS says “events are accidental”, so RHS should be something unexpected. It would be more unexpected to say these events are “rational” rather than they are “unique”, right?
I don’t think “uniqueness” really contrasts with random, you can have a set of stuff with each item being random AND unique, right?
