Breaking down fraction exponents

I was having a little trouble approaching this topic because I started converting each one into a radical. And when seeing the simplified version, I was confused on how 2^6\4 times 6^3/2 to 2^3

the trick is:

  1. try to get common bases
  2. try to rewrite terms so, even if they don’t have the same base, they have the same exponent

This will help make multiplying terms possible.
