Can someone help me identify why my solution & strategy for solving this question is wrong?

Right triangles P and Q are similar. The length of the base of P and Q are 5 and 7 respectively. What is the ratio of the area of P to the area of Q?

I said the base of P is 5 and the height is x (since we dont know what it is). For Q, the base is 7, and I found the ration between 7 to 5 (1.4) and I said the height is 1.4x. Then I solved the question and got the answer 5/9.8. The correct answer is 25/49.

Please let me know

5/9.8 is 25/49

oh ok, when i typed 5/9.8 it gave me an error. i dont know if its a glitch or something. Thank you for helping!
