My thought process was - “because” is the support, the blank should be positive.
, means two parts of sentence should give the same meaning.
There is no need to tailor advertisements for different parts of the country. I interpreted it as vast, so there is no need to get advertisement from different part of the country, so I chose this solution as “an immense” and “ a vast” but the answer given was “homogeneous” and “uniform”. I don’t understand why it is given as homogeneous and uniform. Please help to clarify it.
Why did you interpret this as “vast”?
Because it is written there is no need to tailor advertisements for different parts of world,so I thought since the market is so vast in Britain there is no need to go else where.
It doesn’t say “different parts of the WORLD” though.
Okay, since it is different parts of the country , it implies the market is same that is uniform. Am I interpreting in a correct way now?
Yes, if you don’t need to change ads for different parts of the country, it implies the country is similar throughout.
