"context" question from Dedicated TC/SE Season 4 Session 5 class

I am confused why the double possibility for “context” can be either “useful” or “unnecessary.” I may not be well aware of the usage of the word “context,” but what I expected for the answer to the second blank was a word related to “gruesome and savage” (ex- “pleasant context” “disturbing context”). Does “pleasant context” not make sense?

Thank you

Hi , rather than “useful” or “unnecessary”, for me , a context can be “relevant” or “irrelevant” , these two come more naturally to be than the former two. I guess “useful” might have been used to show relevancy , and “unnecessary” to show irrelevancy of the context.
