Critical Reasoning in shorter GRE

I am going through Gregs two month plan on critical reasoning, and he talks about arguement essays and some short passage questions. Going through some of his assigned hw in BB, those feel like logic games in lsat more than verbal reasoning. I know he said CR questions are rare now, since I am aiming for around 165 on verbal and quant, can i focus less on CR and more on the other more common sections?

Does anyone know if critical reasoning is still a thing now? And if so, what form do the questions usually take?

It’s still a thing, and for your targets its still worth pursuing. They are not super tricky once you learn the basics and practice a few questions.

Please use one of the following series:

When you are done with the series, you can use the following quizzes to practice:

That should be enough to prepare you for CR (its only a few questions per test)
