Data Analysis Quiz #8 I'm overwhelmed plan

Hi guys,
Can someone explain how to approach this for me?

MY answer is wrong (B), what I was thinking was that you would do the choice method with A and J staying next to each other so the 5 slots are 2 *1 * 3 * 2 * 1, which = 12. However, since its a circular table I figured that would take away some of the 12 options and thus B is greater.

Let Alice and Jane be X. How many ways can you arrange this?

Not entirely sure, is it (4-1)! (6)? 4 Options but its circular so -1

wait is it like this but 6 twice (12) because you can have Alice and Jane or Jane and Alice?

Correct. This makes the correct option C.
