Well, if my answers aren’t matching with the answers choice, can I just select the nearest value which is close to my answer?? Because it’s not possible to detect the exact value at least not for me. Even in IELTS’s writing task , we used to use words like roughly,around and so on!
It depends. In many cases there will be something like “approximate”, which is a hint that indicates that you should select the nearest value.
Even if such a wording does not exist, this is OK; however, it’s possible that you made a mistake if the values are not very near.
