Double Possibility or Time Contrast

Isnt this more double possibility than time contrast?

B1 = shaken/unshaken
B2 = tarnished/untarnished

It’s time contrast here because the two states are characteristics from before and after an event/time period i.e before and after the false accusations

While we can also say this is a double possibility question for the same reasons you’ve identified

Looking at it either way, we identify that the first and second blank are contrasting

So the type of question doesn’t necessarily always have to be either or as long as you use these to guide you to the answer

It can’t be. You need to support “false allegations” with “by” so B1 must be negative.
