Hello Everyone!
In the PrepSwift A OR B (Mutually Exclusive) video, I simply solved questions using total! divided by repeats! it worked in some cases, but when the following question came…it didn’t work there.
Can I follow this approach?
Hello Everyone!

More context needed - what did you do before?
I’m saying that for this question, I couldn’t move ahead with the Total! / Repeats!
Where are the repeats though? I don’t get your point.
Look, for example, these questions can be solved using Total! / Repeats!
So, is it possible to use this concept in the question I had asked earlier? Because I’m not able to solve it using Total! / Repeats!
Where’s the factorial though in the first one?
In case 1: GBB = 3! / 2! = 3 cases
Probability of G = ½
Probability of B = ½
So, 3*(1/2)^3 = 3/8
So how would you do it in the original example you shared?
Hey, I’m sorry if I was not able to clearly communicate my doubt at the beginning of the conversation. But my question was the same as you’ve asked me. Is it possible to use this Total! / Repeat! in the question I originally posted?
No as this is not a binomial distribution.
