How is B=90 degrees here when Greg chose this option because in the diagram he labelled it as 60 degrees or is it that 60+30=90
I mean it’s labeled there that B is a right angle
No idea what you mean, could you provide context? There are no angles (besides 90 degrees) here so I’m not sure where you’re getting these numbers from.
see the line that splits the B angle
is he implying it is 90 is 30 +60
Please watch the video he is explaining it there.
I’m sure it was just an example. You could split it like 50 and 40 too. We don’t have enough information to know how the line BD splits the angles to the “left” and “right” of it.
In general, you can split it as x and 90 -x because x + 90 - x = 90
I mean it’s pretty likely it’s what I’ve mentioned above, but sure can you tell me what prepswift vid this is from (if you’re not convinced)?
it is in the solution video
Do you understand what i said though and did that sort your misunderstanding?
sorry your solution didn’t make sense.
I have mentioned the video the solution is from.
I don’t know how the 90 got split into 60 and 30.
It is in the video
I didn’t provide any solution though?
The answer is that it could’ve been split into any two numbers that add to 90. 60 and 30 is just one pair that was presumably considered in the video.
For example, it could’ve been split as 50 and 40 as well. This works cuz again 50 + 40 = 90 just like 60 + 30 = 90
Hopefully that makes sense and answers your question, and i’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible.
