Eliminating options in TC questions

I am diligently following the one month series and make notes of all the verbal lectures as I am not good at it. I am also following the vocab mountain. However, in TC questions, I struggle in identifying whether an option is no evidence or contrast. I then end up making mistakes when I attempt problems

Greg mentions to rewatch the elimination video again which I did. But I am still rusty when it comes to choosing the correct option. Could someone please guide me? I am in the initial days of my prep so I can course-correct

Can you please clarify what you mean by “no evidence or contrast”? In order to correctly remove incorrect answer choices, you should have a guess beforehand. If your guess is far away from the answer, then I would make sure that you are understanding each sentence (translate it). If your guess is close to the answer, then continue to grow your vocab to be able to identify it in the answer choices.
