Engineering Student looking for GRE Study Plan

Hi everyone,

I’m applying to grad school this December, specifically PhD programs in electrical engineering in the USA.

I just finished a very busy semester and now I’m on a summer internship where I hope to have time to study for the GRE. My goal is to study for two months, about 1-2 hours a day and take the test in mid august.

My target score is 160V, 167Q. I don’t care much about my verbal score, as electrical engineering programs really only care about a near perfect quant score. Also the writing section doesn’t matter much as long as I get a 3.0-3.5.

What study plan would you recommend for me given these requirements? Are my goals realistic?

I would recommend the two-month plan as it covers everything from the basics and seeing as you are an engineering student you probably have an understanding of the basic concepts so if you want you can skip the quant concept videos and focus more on the strategy and verbal. I am also an engineering student and am focusing on a higher quant score.
