1. What is the answer to (b)? I thought it is 16%, but the answer says otherwise.

The answer I see is 0.15, which is close enough.

Sort by percentage and find the midpoint (though it would be odd to ask this because you won’t get a numerical answer).

Thank you for your reply, for (b), why it is 15%?

And for the median, should I take the middle percentage or middle people after sorting? let’s say, there are 99 people total and I will take the class in which the 49th people is. or let’s say there is 99% total and I will take the class which belongs to 49%.

I would give 16% as the answer - not sure why ETS put 15%, but it’s not much of a difference.
