I’m finding the quant section quizzes to be basically impossible to get through past question number 7. They seem much harder than any other quant preps out there. Is this intentional. I’m getting discouraged by the difficulty of the quant section, I’m on my third one and I’m basically seeing no improvement even after thoroughly going through the solutions videos.

quant sections 1-3, and on all of them got 11-13 out of 20.

Regarding your question: I’m not familiar with how the first three quant sections were designed (most familiar with #8 and #9), but the quant sections are normally designed to span the entire 130-170 working range (or most of it). This means that you are indeed likely to find questions that are challenging to answer, and that’s generally OK.
The Full Quant Section #8 and #9 tests include grade boundaries that allow you to estimate how well you’re doing. As you may see, they can be lower than you think.
