Fractions // Why do you choose extremes of 1/43 X 6 & 1/48 X 6?

Why do you choose the two extremes of 1/43 & 1/48 when it’s saying “sum of reciprocal integers”? Shouldn’t it logically be 1/43 + 1/44 … +1/48?

What could potentially be my concept gap?

Consider all the numbers to be 1/43 then 6/43 gives 0.139 and consider all the numbers to 1/48 then 6/48 gives 0.125… So the required number must be greater than 0.125 and less than 0.139

From the given examples, 1/6 gives 0.125 and 1/8 gives 0.1667. So the closest value is D) 1/6

Helpful. Thank you.
