Full Practice Beta Test 2: 1st Quant Section

the screenshot attached above is the solution to q9 of the full practice beta test 2, the first quant section. having established the initial inequality, the solution takes it apart into two inequalities and solves them. i understood the first one, wherein l^2 < 225 as ‘l’ is the shorter side in this case so its square cannot be equal to or greater than the area of the given rectangle. however, as is shown for the other side ‘w’ (which the question sets to be at most 4l), i’m confused. w^2>=225, right? which if we express in terms of ‘l’ would be 16*l^2>=225 as w<=4l. so i’m confused as to why we write 4l^2 and not 16*l^2, because as per my understanding, the entire term should be squared. would greatly appreciate if someone could clarify this, thanks in advance!
