Hi,
I’m wondering if some of you math people might know where I can get more practice with the kinds of functions that will be covered by the test. Unfortunately, because the concept is utterly new to me, I am very shaky on it and prone to error and confusion. Especially those ones where there is more than one function and you are supposed to fit them inside each other like a Russian doll…what are those called? Or what about that function of a function stuff? I already know that ETS has a list that links the foundation concepts to Khan Academy (here it is if you’ve never seen it: Khan Academy Free GRE Test Preparation (For Test Takers) ) That’s been great. The only problem is that the link to the section on functions doesn’t work anymore and when I searched it on Khan instead there are a lot of topics listed.
Functions | Algebra (all content) | Math | Khan Academy
It all truly sounds very interesting and I wish I had time to dive into the wild world of wacky functions! But my test is in a month and I’m trying to fill some gaps here. Can any of you math oriented people please scroll through the Khan unit on functions and tell me which ones I should be studying and practicing for the test?
Thanks!
