Hi I could only assume the length and width of the rectangle and get the value of daigonal. I am completely lost after it. How can I solve this

What is the area of \Delta TSU?

The answer is C. But how do we know the diagonal divides rectangle is divided exactly into halves? Is it a established concept that any diagonal in rectangle or square divides it exactly into two halves?

That, and it isn’t too hard to prove it either. After all, the area of a triangle is half times base times height and you have two such halves in a rectangle.

Thank you! Very helpful
