Geometry Foundation Quiz 1 Question 13

I answered 629, but the quiz says the answer should be 628. I figured out the issue has to do with which version of pi you use. I use 22/7 instead of 3.14. Can I not use 22/7 on the test?

For reference, the largest cylinder with have radius 5 and height 8, i.e. 200*pi volume.

If your answer is that close, then you’re right its likely an issue with the pi value.

Was this the same as your work (roughly)?

@Leaderboard can you extend the ans key for this question to allow 629 please? Or alternatively, ask them to answer in terms of Pi?

All the exact same except I used 22/7 instead of 3.14 like you did.

Indeed, this question has been fixed as a result.
