Geometry: Is the hypothenuse of an inscribed right triangle always the diameter?

For questions that mention “a right triangle is inscribed in a circle” is it safe to assume that the hypotenuse is the diameter every time? Just checking to see if there any exceptions.

Yes, if the question stem states that “a right angle triangle is inscribed in a circle”, the diameter is always the hypotenuse. Also, if the question stem states that “one side of the triangle passes through the centre of the circle” it is safe to assume the triangle is a right angled triangle.
