Hi, since we already know 3 out of the 4 angles and what’s left is 90 degree, why wouldn’t x = y? With 3 out of 4 angles as right angle, we know this is either a triangle or square already, right?
Stretch it horizontally.
@cringes_squeak.0q you are right that 3 out of 4 are 90deg so the last will also be 90deg. But the sides are not shown as equal (it just looks but not implicitly mentioned) so we cannot assume that its a square.
4 90deg angles => either a rectangle or a square. Now we can’t say x = y coz if its a rectangle, they won’t be equal. And since the rectangle can be horizontal or vertical (which is also not mentioned) we cannot say that which will be bigger, so yeah cannot be determined.
@Leaderboard @ritvij14 ah okay, I got it. Sorry I just realised I call the polygon a rhombus. Meant to say square.
